Make the most of your group getaway by booking one of Southern Belle’s larger Savannah GA vacation rentals for your stay. Seona House is not only one of our largest Savannah Georgia vacation rentals, but it is also among our most accommodating, with space for up to 13 guests and a fabulous swimming pool that will keep everyone refreshed.
The Vital Statistics
Seona House, a fully renovated, historic Savannah vacation rental across the street from Pulaski Square, features three levels of gracious vacation accommodations. Ideal for a family reunion, group business trip or annual friends’ get-together, it offers a combination of space geared toward both social and personal uses. Four bedrooms on three floors, four and one-half baths, two living rooms and two fully equipped kitchens offer several configurations to fit your group dynamic.
Whole house Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, flat-screen TVs throughout the property and a pair of complimentary parking slots provide the amenities you need to make your visit a pleasure. Enter the private courtyard from street level, or take a short flight of steps to the gracious front porch, complete with Grecian columns, to explore your adopted Southern home.
Enter the main-floor parlor through double doors from the front foyer. You will sense a dip in blood pressure as you take in the calming, neutral-toned décor, tall ceilings and highly polished, hardwood floors. The parlor boasts large, curtained windows, plush armchairs and a roomy sofa. An eye-catching period fireplace, crown molding and views of leafy live oak canopies outdoors suggest a sense of gravitas that keeps you comfortably grounded. A flat screen television provides a portal to the outside world from your rarified haven in the heart of Savannah.
An open archway leads to the formal dining room where a crystal chandelier and decorative mantel add elegant flair to mealtimes. The modern wood table has fold-out leaves for the space you need when everyone is assembled. The adjacent kitchen features a full-sized refrigerator, range-oven, dishwasher, microwave and island seating. The cupboards and drawers contain enough dishes, glasses and flatware for everybody, plus pots and pans for a feast. Next door, the sunroom supplies a light-washed conversation space. Fabulous French doors with overhead transoms overlook the covered sun deck, which is furnished with cozy wicker seating.
The second kitchen, located at ground level downstairs, is equally well-equipped, so your subgroups can collaborate on large meals or provision themselves separately. The kitchen opens to a casual dining room with rustic wood seating and a beverage cooler. A decorative folding screen conceals an open bedroom suite with comfortable couch seating and a fold-out, queen-sized bed. Beamed ceilings, a brick fireplace and natural stone floors compliment the queen-sized bed. A full bath with a tub/shower and lantern-style lighting is steps away, as are full-size laundry facilities.
Another bedroom suite one flight up features a king-sized and a queen-sized bed, making it ideal for small families. Mountains of soft pillows and crisply laundered bedding invite you to enjoy well-deserved rest. Built-in shelving, big windows, a shared desk and gracious French doors that open to a leafy balcony complete these living quarters. The ensuite bathroom boasts a slipper tub, a glass-enclosed shower, double sinks and slate wainscoting.
Step up to the third story where three more bedrooms accommodate the rest of your party. A roomy space with beamed ceilings provides a pair of queen-sized beds and armchair seating. A bistro table where you can share breakfast and a brick fireplace accent the sunlit sleeping area. The adjoining bathroom contains an open shower, sink and stacked washer-dryer.
A second large bedroom with dormer windows nestles beneath the slanted roof. Crisp blues and whites adorn this cloudlike chamber equipped with two soft queen-sized beds, armchairs and a zonal air conditioner. A twin bedroom adds a private space for a single guest.
The fabulous, fully private pool area and patio in back will be your favorite outdoor space. Mature, leafy trees provide shading, and umbrella tables give you spots to perch between dips in the oval swimming pool. Potted plants add exotic accents. The covered patio leads indoors to the ground-floor of Seona House, while the private back entry takes you into the surrounding city.
